How to install Photoshop Patterns.
PATTERNS (.pat FILES)
Many of our brush sets and texture kits come with custom pattern sets that help create various texture effects. All Photoshop pattern files have a .pat file extension.
Photoshop CC Instructions.
To install a pattern set take the following steps:
- In Photoshop open the Patterns Panel (Window > Patterns)
- Open the fly-out menu and choose Import Patterns... from the list.
- Locate your .pat file on your hard drive.
- Click Open to install.
